Our History
We are a 3 form entry Primary School from reception to year 6.
We also have a successful nursery which has spaces for 43 children.
Our school is a place where children are taught how to learn and engage in an inclusive, broad and balanced creative curriculum and a school where they are respected and valued as individuals and can expect to achieve an extremely high standard of education.
Learn and Believe...Aspire and Achieve
This is our school vision and we aim for this in everything we do.
In our latest Ofsted report we are “good” with “outstanding” leadership and management.
In 2008 Sweyne Junior School and Swanscombe Infant School amalgamated to form Manor Community Primary School. A new multi-million pound purpose built building was then built in 2010, which is absolutely amazing combined with our many innovative approaches, which will give children opportunities without parallel in moving forward in education and into the world of employment or vocation.
In September 2015 a new purpose built building was completed, this houses three new classrooms for year 6 and a hall.
In February 2016 our school converted to academy status under the Cygnus Academies Trust.
