Yr 4 VR Volcanoes

Today Year 4 had a Volcano VR experience.  Here is what some of the pupils thought: 

Today we had an exciting volcano VR workshop. We looked at different types of volcanoes. One was called a cone volcano. When we looked into the VR headsets, it was like we were standing on top of the volcano – Naomi. 

We learnt about the different ways to classify volcanoes. The three ways to classify volcanoes: active, extinct and dormant. It was great fun! – Simran. 

Some of the volcanoes were even erupting! We couldn’t believe it! It was amazing! Some of the volcanoes were sleeping which means they could potentially erupt soon. – Sophia. 

There was a blanket of ash in the sky. This is from the ash clouds. – Emily. 

We got to visit different volcanoes in different countries and continents. We even got to go back in time to 2021 to see a volcano erupting and the lava river. It was fun! – Connie. 

It was so good and it was like we were actually going to fall into the volcano! – Rico
